A1 Travels (ABN 63 617 339 572) ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian travel agency based in Sydney, NSW. We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy covers all interactions with A1 Travels, including this website, our quote forms, phone and email enquiries, and bookings we make on your behalf.

What we collect

• Contact details you provide in a quote request or booking: name, email address, phone number.
• Trip details: destinations, departure city, travel dates, traveller numbers, cabin preference, and any notes you add (for example, special assistance needs or meal requirements).
• Booking details when you proceed: passport information, dates of birth, frequent flyer numbers and payment details, as required by airlines and suppliers to issue tickets.
• Technical data when you use the website: pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address, via privacy-respecting analytics, plus any information collected by third-party services embedded on the site (see below).

How we use it

We use your information to prepare quotes, make and manage bookings, lodge special requests with airlines and suppliers, notify you of schedule changes affecting your trip, respond to your enquiries, and, where you have engaged us, send you relevant fare information. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

• Airlines, hotels and travel suppliers, to the extent required to make your bookings. Where a supplier is based overseas, your information may be transferred overseas for that purpose.
• Our form processing provider (Web3Forms), which transmits quote form submissions to our email.
• Our partners' websites (such as Agoda, Hotels.com, Viator and Klook) only when you choose to click through to them. What you do on their sites is governed by their own privacy policies; we do not pass your details to them.
• Government agencies where legally required, for example border and security agencies that require passenger information for international travel.

Cookies and third-party content

Our website is a static site and keeps its own data collection minimal. Session storage is used to remember whether you have seen our quote popup and whether you have submitted a form, so we do not repeatedly show you the same prompts. Embedded partner widgets (for hotel or activity search) and web fonts may set their own cookies under their providers' policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Storage and security

Quote and booking information is held in our business email and booking systems, protected by access controls. We retain booking records as required for legal, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes, and delete or de-identify information we no longer need.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep. If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first so we can resolve it; you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
